My Reiki I class this weekend, Reiki Circle and then a healing with a client today reminded me to talk about the true reason we are here. Today I felt the motivation to write it up and share it with you. Just in case you can benefit by hearing this today. Take it or not, it’s up to you. But, if you meditate on it or do a Reiki session intending to understand it for you, you might actually find it as simple and yet profound as I do. It’s come to me before, but today, I am sending it out to you as well.
The most important healing we can do that heals us on all levels, in all time and space and dimension and is delivered to us through the beautiful gift of Reiki. It’s simple. Maybe too simple, easy to ignore or dismiss. But when we get down to the SOURCE/ROOT of all our dis-ease, it’s not political, it’s not karmic relationships with others, it’s not pollution or mental illness or something else. It’s our connection to Reiki Source. It is our true, tangible relationship with the Rei part of the Reiki.
The Rei in Reiki is the SOURCE of Reiki. The Rei part of Reiki has many meanings including: holy, spirit, mystery, nature spirit, universal, spiritual wisdom, higher knowledge, soul energy, mysterious spirit and Divine Source/Reiki Source/God Consciousness/Higher Power/Creator/Mother Father God/Goddess and more. Creator Wisdom that knows exactly what you need and want in this moment. It what makes Reiki very simple and different and powerful from other energy healing modalities; Creator Wisdom and Love.
Reiki give us a channel directly to this Source and the possibility of a relationship with this Divine Source. It’s up to us to work with that channel. And, it’s up to us to understand the potential of healing that can happen when we add intention to connect and pursue this relationship.
Reiki will heal us each time we lay out hands on ourselves or others to heal. But, the true miracle comes when we commit to having a conscious relationship with this Rei energy and FEEL on all levels connected and loved by this energy. THAT is truly what we have come here to do. Most everything else is chatter or distraction. Reiki is one, one beautiful and blissful delivery service of this healing. There are many ways, but you are reading a blog about Reiki living so I’m guessing that you also resonate with this way of healing.
ACTION ITEM: Every day when you do a Reiki session on yourself, add the intention before or during the session, that you feel loved, seen, heard, protected, and healed by Reiki Source. Intend to have a loving relationship with Reiki Source and see how this heals you. And, this is the kicker, Do this healing daily (or as often as possible, daily) until you FEEL this is your TRUTH on all levels, physically, etheric ally, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Truly, this is ALL WE NEED.

TIP # 1:START WITH REIKI TO CALM & NEUTRALIZE YOURSELF
TIP #2: QUESTION EVERYTHING!!
TIP#3: DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO YOU?!! The information coming through may feel TOO MUCH at first, too scary, too far fetched, too OUT THERE !! SO question it. Ask yourself, does it make sense to me? Sometimes our Divine Guidance will encourage us to do something that feels scary and may test our ability to ‘heal through our fears’ so it may feel a bit crazy at the time. My DG has definitely nudged me to uncomfortable places quite often but when I did Reiki, sat with it for a time, questioned it and contemplated it, I went for it and grew as a person a great deal. My DG does this often because I have asked Reiki to help me heal as much as possible. It’s up to us to either rise to the occasion or not. Healing and facing our fears is a soul and human choice. Commonsense is a very good discernment tool for us. If Divine Guidance is asking us to do something that violates our common sense then slow down, do Reiki, ask more questions and ask for signs or clarification. Do not act on it until it feels right to you. (Urgency is not a thing, take time to make your decision, Blog #1) You can still be scared, but it’s also healthy to heal through the fear by doing it anyway. I often say, “If you are excited or scared, it’s for you. If you are bored, it’s not for you and you’ll forget it soon enough.” Once I’ve done the whole healing with Reiki process over a scary proposition and now it truly FEELS right, makes sense to me, then the fear dissipates and the excitement takes the lead. When that happens, it’s truly SPIRITUAL KISMET ! It feels right in all of your cells!
STOP: Reiki yourself. Once you are more neutral, ask Reiki Source for a sign or new guidance. Many times, situations that cause stress or fear are HEALING OPPORTUNITIES. If you are not in danger, then question it. Is there a relationship, situation or karma that may be healed by doing Reiki on it? When we Reiki ourselves, neutralize ourselves with Reiki, rid ourselves of the drama voice, then we are able to see more clearly what is truly going on. And Reiki can even give us guidance on how to proceed in a way that is for our best and highest good for our soul path. Most situations we feel are ‘urgent’ are actually a chance to heal karma. If you extricate yourself from the situation too fast, you lose that opportunity to learn and heal. OR another opportunity will come soon that is even more stressful. ASK REIKI HOW TO PROCEED! Enlightenment is not comfort or ease, sometimes it’s doing the hard or patient thing.

TIP#3: IS IT LOVING?!! Is the information coming through loving to yourself or others? Reiki comes directly from our Higher Power of Love and Light. Therefore Reiki and our Divine Guidance that comes with our Reiki will only hint to us to do things that are loving and kind and for our best and highest good for our soul path. That doesn’t mean toxic positivity. (Toxic positivity is being positive all the time when you really don’t feel positive.) Loving ourselves first and foremost is one of those things Reiki helps us to do over time of continued Reiki. It does take being truthful with yourself and others, which may be knew and hard, but worth it. Sometimes Divine Intuition that comes through may create situations that will need to be talked about and worked out, but not truly injure. Reiki encourages us to love ourselves first and sometimes that means setting boundaries that are best for us and allowing others to adjust. Reiki will not tell us to do anything that will unjustly hurt others or ourselves. If the information you feel coming in is to hurt yourself or others, THAT IS NOT LOVE. THAT IS NOT REIKI DIVINE GUIDANCE.

Since I read that for the first time, it made sense to me. It resonated to me, at the time, but it won’t always.
It described the route my soul choose in order to get where I am; abuse, chronic illness, trauma, depression. Not always fun, not easy, but rarely boring and quite literally, expansive. It has facilitated me in learning the lessons I needed to learn to be the stronger, more intuitive and more interesting person I am today.
My chart also says that through healing myself, I also help others to facilitate their own healing. This is a gift for sure. Heal one, heal many. That has been the theme of this year for me.
This has been my personal process for my whole life, and, for that, I am grateful.
Sharing what I have learned with others, watching others go through the expanding of their own healing process is renewal of spirit and incredibly rewarding. And for that too, I am grateful.
Since my father passed away last September I’ve been thrown into a whirl-wind of healing opportunities.
Blogging, unfortunately, has not been a part of it. I’ve been deep in healing myself, which all healers need to be conscious of and DO consistently more than any healing for others. The beauty of Reiki is that when you heal yourself or anyone else, everyone benefits. It’s divine.
When a large change happens, like the death of a parent, we need to take time for ourselves to heal, process and expand. I’ve been doing just that and I’m getting there. Patience is a big part of this process. I’m grateful for yours, and I’m practicing mine a great deal.
I know I’ll have plenty to share when I’m ready, but I’m still not at the point where blogging feels helpful or needed. I have yet to be motivated by spirit to do it.
So, Thank You For Your Patience, as I don’t yet feel blogging and writing about my path this past year is for my highest good. Yes. I’m grateful to those of you have have noticed and spoken to me about it. That means some of you are reading and noticing. For that, again, I am grateful. Thank you for reading, thank you for your patience and hopefully when I come back to it, you’ll be ready to read because it’s been quite a year and I’d like to share what I’ve learned with those who want to hear about it.
When spirit moves me, I’ll be back talking about Reiki and other healing modalities that I am learning through this process. The wait, I believe, will be worth it.
It has been a year of miracles for me. I believed in miracles for my clients, for other people, this year I finally believed for myself. Ask and you shall receive. I asked for a healing miracle and I received a healing miracle. I’ll write about it to share with you all soon. In the meantime, I’m taking what I’ve learned and helping others as much as I possibly can.

My living room filled to the brim with kids, parents, Reiki Teachers and Reiki pets. Perfect chaos. LOL
Reiki Kids Class
About once a year I teach a Reiki Kids Class, usually close to summer break. This is guided by the children themselves and Divine, of course. When they are ready, they appear and tell me or their Reiki parent and I book a class. This class, this year, was my youngest group yet. The program I have is written for 6 and up and I have taught teen classes as well. This class was mostly 8 and under all the way to age 2. It was total joyful chaos and I loved it. I believe they did too.
Sharing Love

Young children have a natural affinity for Reiki. They see it and feel it as part of their normal every day state of being. Of course, I’m teaching children who are being raised by Reiki moms and dads, so they tend to be sensitive to energy and already in many cases, doing healing work without being taught. They just do it as their natural life process. Sometimes it’s the children who motivate the parents to follow through and take a Reiki class as well. It’s beautiful to watch and even more beautiful if this pretense to love is nurtured into their older years and kept as part of who they are as they grow up.

Many kids will forget that they saw angels and fairies as kids or that they used to lay their hands on their siblings or parents for healing. But, if the children see their parents doing this throughout their childhood and young adult years, they are much more likely to keep these abilities and work with them in their adult life. This is, I believe, what will change our world for the better. Love and sharing it daily. To me, and these kids, Reiki is Divine Love. And love heals.
Attunements on Children
Amber, one of my Reiki Master/Teacher students and mom to some of the Reiki kids, helped with six of the attunements and I did six too. Kaia and Allie get their Reiki I attunements first while the other kids color and watch the process.
When attuning children to Reiki, it’s much to me like adults. I show the kids what the attunement is like first. I explain to them that this is a sacred ceremony to ‘hook’ them up to the special Reiki healing from our Higher Power. (We talk about what Higher Power means at the beginning of class. Most of the kids prefer the word LOVE.) And, I always make sure it is the choice of the child to be attuned. Even the two-year olds have been talking with their mom and dad and me prior to the class to make sure this is what they want. (I do this with telepathy but there are many other ways. reading books about Reiki, Doing Reiki with them prior to the class so they are totally aware of what it is, body language and just simply
It may look busy but the room was actually amazingly quiet. Performing attunements in this large group of families was quite rewarding. Also, doing side by side attunements with my friend and co-teacher was something I’ll not easily forget. Blessings Amber. Thank you for the support my friend.
listening to them and how they behave.) If a child throws a tantrum or shows at the time of the attunement that they are not ready, listen to them. The right time will appear for them or not, it’s all good. Go with the flow.
With this class, after explaining the attunement and how it’s important to be very quiet and respectful to each person’s experience, they got it. During the 12 attunements we did, which took almost an hour, the kids colored their coloring pages, but were quiet and respectful the whole entire time. They watched and took it in and seemed to understand the full spiritual impact this ceremony had on each of us. Watching the other children receive the attunements had a powerful impact on all of us in the room.
For some, the whole day was just too much activity. Vaughn, one of our two-year olds, my very first Reiki baby and attuned himself to Reiki at 8 months old, got attuned again on this day by his own mom. These are the precious stories of my life and I couldn’t be more grateful to Reiki for what I get to do with my life. TY God!
The parents told me after, how impactful that was to them, to be able to witness this Divine ritual. In my previous classes I had done the attunements in a separate room while the kids were involved in a spiritual art project. I wasn’t sure they would enjoy watching each of the other children being attuned or that they would be able to stay quiet for the whole hour. I had also visualized it in different rooms before the class and saw this as guidance for how it would be best to do the attunements. It may have been right for those classes and that time. But, this experience was so great, I’m going to ask the kids from now on, get their buy in to the ceremony and go from there. The kids are quite amazing, they know what’s best for them. It’s up to us to trust them.
Reiki Freeze Tag!! A HUGE hit!
After sitting for an hour being attuned, the kids were ready for some out-door play, so we played a rambunctious few games of ‘Reiki Freeze Tag’ where the kids got to take turns being the freezer and the healer. It was chaos again, but hilarious to watch. The game got especially exciting when my 14-year-old son was the freezer and we had three different healers, one of which was spontaneous and top-secret because no one but he knew he was the healer. LOL, gotta love kids. So much fun.

I’ll tell the rest of the story with photos, because they really say so much. (more photos below) It is my goal to continue to attune and teach children Reiki, to inspire other Reiki Teachers to do the same and to encourage families to do Reiki together. One small step in the right direction equals one big step towards saving our people and our planet. Love will make the difference, it always has.
The kids were eager to practice Reiki on their Sensei (Teacher) Josslyn and she loved it. The more Reiki the better is what I always say. Loving kid Reiki is the best. I think they’ve got me well covered.
We now follow-up the kids Reiki class with summertime Reiki fun. We’ll meet as often as we can to reinforce the Reiki healing they have learned so they can have real hands on practice. But, the daily practice with their Reiki parents is the most important. Our kids do what we do. They watch us. If we do Reiki, they will. If we speak lovingly, they will too. It’s all up to us as parents to reinforce the positive ideals, or not. Don’t worry, Reiki will guide you along the path. You truly are not alone in this.

QUESTION:
Thank you Josslyn for sending daily Reiki to my sick dogs. I am attuned to Reiki but I haven’t been using it to send healing to my dogs because I’m so stressed about them being sick. Will the energy be enough if am under stress. I know that I need to heal myself first before I send healing to others, but I am not confident if I am worried like this, that they are getting what they need.

ANSWER:
Dear J.S.
Our Divine Creator understands we humans are stressed much of the time, this is one of the reasons we have been gifted with Reiki at this time to help us deal with the high stress levels we are under while in human form and help us learn how to lower it naturally and spiritually with the help of Reiki.
If we all waited until we were not stressed or completely healed before doing Reiki on others, we would literally never be able to do Reiki. None of us are perfect and yet doing Reiki will help us get closer to spiritual enlightenment. One Reiki healing at a time.
The Reiki is Divine energy, we are just the channel. The Reiki is intelligent in its own right and knows exactly what is needed in each situation. Therefore, all we need to do is ask and be the channel, then allow the Reiki to do the healing. All healing comes from our Divine Source, not us. Therefore, Doing Reiki while stressed is better than not doing it at all. Right!?!
By doing Reiki on your sick dogs, the Reiki will heal your dogs in the way they need most, and the Reiki will flow through you, helping you to feel less stressed, thus healing you too. Reiki is a win/win situation. Everyone in the process receives exactly what they need. If you were stressed when you started, I bet you feel much calmer by the time you are done. Maybe you even have a ‘higher’ understanding of why your dogs and you are having to go through this period of dis-ease. But, just by knowing you are helping your dogs, you too will feel better.
Go ahead and do it, it will be exactly what your pets need and will most likely de-stress you in the process too.

Rain Shadow Reiki’s New Spiritual Community Activity!! GNO!!
I’ve talked in the past about how my guides are telling me that now, at this time, it is vitally important to the healing of our people and our earth that we gather in local spiritual groups. If people are not part of a church, then forming or finding a spiritual group is essential to our spiritual evolution.

We evolve faster and more easily when working closely with other spiritual people of like mind. I have experienced this first hand in my own Reiki community and can see the direct effects in my own progression. So, once again, especially if you’ve been getting your own messages to find other spiritual people close to you, JUST DO IT!! It is not always easy meeting new people and working closely with others, but it is highly worthwhile.
Our Reiki Communities New Group — Meet Our Mystic Sisters!
My guides encouraged me to start a Ladies Night Out group to bring more fun to our small Reiki community. GNO was my guides idea, but I liked it and got it going with our first group activity, GAME NIGHT!!
After playing some ‘get-to-know-you’ games and filling our tummies with delicious healthy food, we voted on a name for the group and Mystic Sisters won by a slim margin. My guides gave me this name first so it doesn’t surprise me at all that it won the vote. So our group is called the Mystic Sisters. The sisterhood theme was a big one as 5 out of the 7 possible names we voted on, had sisters in it.
Playing Spiritual Games in a Safe Way
The group in the living room learning how to play the Psychic Circle game. It helps to have one person taking notes and reading the book. You can take turns doing this.
The spiritual part of our evening this month was to learn how to play spiritual divining games in a safe and accurate manner. As a child, I had a higher knowing (not that I knew what a higher knowing was at that time) that Ouija Boards and other such games could be unsafe and possibly bring in darkness. I still have this feeling and have not ever wanted to even touch one, let alone play with one.
However, I do not feel that all spiritual games are this way. I feel the people who create the game and HOW it is played and instructed to be played makes a big difference. I feel some games themselves are not safe and I feel it’s possible that the misguided usage of some of these games by people who didn’t know any better or possibly used them for dark needs have over time left an imprint of lower energy that isn’t what I want to be playing with. Just my opinion/feeling.

So I searched for similar games that I could feel good about. I quickly found a series of games made by a husband and wife psychic team who had the same idea as me; wanting beautiful spiritual divining games that were of Love and Light with very detailed instructions as to how to work with these kinds of games safely. I found Psychic Circle, Enchanted Spellboard and the Truth Fairy games all by Amy Zerner and Monte Farber. I tried them out ahead of time with some friends and had lots of fun and felt the whole time surrounded and protected by Divine Love and Light.
Intention & Prayer is Everything in Energy
Of course, prior to starting the game, we brought in our Reiki (Gassho prayer of intention), sent Reiki to the games themselves, blessing them with the Power Symbol, cleansing them with the Mental/Emotional Symbol, and energizing them with Divine Energy with the Power Symbol again (CKR Sandwich). We cleaned and energized ourselves the same way prior to this and then said a prayer of intention calling in the Highest and Most Sacred Order of Reiki Guides of Love and Light to be with us and guide us.

As the host and Reiki Master in the group, I also set space prior to everyone coming over. This means I blessed, cleansed and energized the entire home before the event. I do this before every event at my home. For each event I have a different intention depending upon what the purpose of the event is. For game night, it was Fun, Joy and Sisterly Spiritual Love! The ‘vibe’ in the room was definitely joyful! I teach ways to do this, but that’s another blog. (To be continued.)
Got Reiki? NO
If you do not have Reiki you can still pray with all of these intentions, state them out loud for emphasis and KNOW and BELIEVE that you are surrounded by Divine and working with only guides and spirits who walk in the White Light of God, and you’ll be good to go. Put your heart, some visualization, words and intention into this process. Don’t rush through it, it’s important, take your time and FEEL the difference it makes.
Rebel Danger
What happens if you don’t do this? Well, sometimes nothing. But, sometimes, if your intentions are not strong and clear, or you forget to do them at all, lower vibrational spirits who do not have your best intentions in mind can bring in wrong or misleading information, silly or joking information or even dark information. This is not only a waste of time and confusing, it can be dangerous as these spirits could attach to you and stick around. Believe me, you do not want this. They can wreak havoc with your life, your health, your sleep and attract more darkness into it. (If you feel this has happened to you, I know a trusted healer who can help. It is just too easy to say a prayer of intention and NOT end up with this kind of energy around you by being in a state of Love and Light and holding Divine close to your heart at all times. Especially if you are playing these games with others, you owe it to them and yourself to do it safely. O.k., lecture over.
It’s All In the Question

With practice we found out that how you phrase your question is very important as well as having excitement and curious energy helps to bring in movement to the board faster and easier. The more fun we had, the better it worked. It was so much fun, some of the sisters wanted to play these games again next month. Yep, it was cool! At one point I asked if it would be in my highest good to go to Sedona this summer for my girlfriend’s birthday celebration. The Psychic Circle board first went to GO and then landed on FIRE. I laughed and said, “Ok, I can go, but it’s going to be very hot.” When I told my friend this, she said that she’s a Leo and Leo is a FIRE sign. Ok, two possible meanings. Either way, Sedona is a good idea for me anytime. No, I didn’t need the game to tell me that, my intuition is pretty darn good, but it was a very fun way to get an answer.

Lets face it, many of us light workers would love to work in a field where we feel fulfilled and spiritual every day. Business Experience
My husband and I have both worked in cutthroat businesses and have had experience with not feeling like our jobs are in our highest good. I wish I had known Reiki back then. But, with his support, I was able to get out of that arena and follow my true spiritual path to be a healer/reader/teacher, guided by Divine Source all along the way.

Hi Josslyn,
Thank you for sending Reiki to our dog with Parvo. Our other dogs are positive already so we are going to call the vet to administer medication to them. Is it ok to give reiki while they are in medication? Will Reiki wear off the effectiveness of the vaccine?
Please send positive healing energies to my dogs. 🙁 I am really worried about them.

Hi J.S.,
Please be reassured, Reiki will not interfere in medication working in any way, if you are attuned to Reiki do it as much as you can. In fact by doing Reiki on your pets and their medicine you help to bring them in to balance with each other (positive vibrations working together as one). Reiki is healing energy directly from our Creator. This means, it is intelligent energy from a Divine Source, knows exactly what is needed for each pet and it does not harm ever.
Thank you for your care and concern for your pets, I’m happy to do what I can as the channel for the Reiki.
